Thank you for taking the time to read my enquiry, any advice would be
gratefully received.
I recently developed a questionnaire as part of study investigating
barriers and motivations to up-take of cervical screening. The
population targeted by the study included people who did not use English
as their first language. Invitation to participate in the study included
a translated summary and an invitation to contact a translation service
should the participant wish to have individual support to complete the
questionnaire. At the time of development I attempted (without success)
to find evidence to inform the most appropriate way to encourage people
from ethnic minorities to participate in this form of research. I would
like to know if anyone has come across any evidence which addresses this
issue.
