Dear all
Hi, my name is Kiersten Fishburn and I'm the Audience Development Officer
for Accessible Arts (the NSW peak arts and disability organisation).
I am planning at trip to the UK in September of this year (contingent on
receiving funding from our Ministry for the Arts). I was hoping that I would
be able to meet with people working in arts and disability during my visit
- I'd be really interested to discuss the work you are doing. I'd also be
happy to do a presentation on what is occurring in Australia and some of the
strategies we are developing if you think people would be interested.
I'd love it if you'd contact me directly if you were interested in setting
up a meeting, or just wanted to know more about the work we are doing in
Australia. My direct e-mail is: [log in to unmask]
If possible, I'd also love to get advice and contact details of anyone you
think it would be useful for me to meet. The areas that I most interested in
are:
* Arts organisations developing programs to increase audiences of people
with disabilities
* Arts agencies developing access and inclusion policies
* Organisations working with people with disabilities to assist in the
development of professional skills and practices.
I look forward to hearing from you, hope we will be able to meet and thanks
in advance for any help you can give.
Many regards
Kiersten Fishburn
