I might add that last year's conference included talks by David Miles
and by myself, on 'sacred sites'. My assumption (as a non-member) is
that the PF people are attempting to create a forum in which
archaeology and the relationships of pagans and archaeologists can be
publicly debated. Only sorry that David couldn't have stuck around
for longer after his talk though.
