Not sure if the human remains are actually there, but a stone guidepost
on Bonsall Moor (near Matlock Derbys) is reputed to have held an
inscription stating that nearby one Allsopp of Slayley was buried.
Probably the stone was around 1709. Assumed to have been a suicide.
Apparently this part of the stone is now illegible.
