Subject: Coalition Magazine submissions
The August 2003 edition of Coalition will focus on:
SELLING OUT
In his controversial talk at GMCDP's AGM Alun Davis considered the
question-"Are we all becoming Bert Massie's now?" In other words are
wejoining the ranks of those who have sold out?
We ask contributors to consider what is "selling-out"?
Can selling out be defined by a set of criteria? Or is it something that you
recognise when you witness it?
Have you sold out or do you know those who have? Or is selling out
something which only other people do?
Is it more useful to talk about changes of political direction (e.g. from
'left' to 'right' or 'radical' to 'moderate') rather than selling out?
Or is selling out pretending to hold certain beliefs when evidence of
actions suggest otherwise?
We would also welcome responses to the items on WAR in this edition.
If you have any views on these.....
To contribute...............
Closing date for copy for the August edition is 20th June, 2003.
