LCFGng:
I have now "upgraded" our LCFG machine to LCFGng, however it looks like
/usr/sbin/mkxprof has not changed. Is this correct? I'm guessing it isn't,
because mkxprof no longer runs, initially complaining about not being able
to find DB_File.pm. Afer scavenging for this and a subsequent long chain of
perl modules and putting them into the perl include path, I end up with the
terminal DynaLoader.pm line 206 error, which is apparantly caused by an
error in the dynamic extension loading.
I have reinstalled LCFGng "from scratch" (as best I could), but the problem
persists. This could be an include path ordering problem, but I have spent
a few hours on it and am now making no progress.
OpenSSH:
I am having trouble installing the openssh-3.4p1-1_edg*.rpms which go with
the RH7.3 version of the EDG software. They seem to require
libk5crypto.so.2 (and associate others), while RH7.3 has libk5crypto.so.3
already installed and in use by numerous other applications/libraries.
This took a few hours to work around earlier in the day. I eventually got
ssh running by removing the openssh-*-3.4p1-1_edg2 rpms and replacing them
with openssh-*-3.4p1-2.i386.rpm, but I'm guessing this shouldn't have been
necessary.
Has anyone else managed to RH7.3 upgrade of EDG software?
Cheers,
Ian.
