German III (1890-Present): "Transitions and Identity"
How do transitions between eras influence identity construction as
represented in Germanophone literature and film? This session will
examine issues of identity (community, ethnic, gender, national) in the
context of turns of centuries. Send abstracts via e-mail (either in

GERMAN WOMEN WRITERS: "Communities of German-Speaking Women Artists
Through the Centuries"
Proposals are sought for papers on the theme of communities - artistic,
linguistic, utopian, professional or in regard to sexuality, religion,
