Barbara
I collect them from our post office at 7 am and my other 2 staff come into
work for 7.30. We have our envelopes prepared ready before the day. For
each board we split result slips and ensure they're in alph order, then
merge the slips (candidates may be using different boards for different
subjs)for each student, put into envelopes. We copy summary lists for
Faculty Heads involved (they can collect these by 10.00 am. Full time
students can collect results from 10 am, other students can collect form
11.00 am. Any not collected by 3.00 pm are sent out by first class post
that day. Hope this helps.

Subject: Summer results day
I would be interested in finding out what is the earliest you release the
results to your students. I collect ours from the Post Office at 7.00 am
except Edexcel (like to be different) arrives by special post, we like to
envelope them, so do not let the student pick them up until approx 11.00 am,
I am being pressurised this year to have them available earlier.
I would welcome details of any systems you may have in place that makes this
day less stressful.
