Is SimplyFy the same as SimpliRED?
It's just that the reliability of SimpliRED has been questioned in the ED.

Depends what you want to acheive. Near pt testing can
be very cost efective. Example - Bath used to have lab
based d dimer test, used by whole hospital, cost 30 k
per year, lab unhappy at inappropriate use and whinged
a lot. Bath ED took it over using SimpliFy near pt
test kit and banned its use on inpatients and other
inappropriate situations. Result - cost saving of £15
k per year and ED got a v speedy test result which
allows early discharge.
