Well, we have a GEM of some description. It cost me £18,000 in
consumables last year, so I am reviewing its benefit. It does seem
fairly reliable, but I'm not sure about accuracy as it does seem to
disagree with other analysers.

Subject: Blood Gas Analysers in the Emergency Room
Does anyone use the 'IL GEM 3000' blood gas analyser, is it as good as
the promotional flyer I received suggests?
Your comments would be most appreciated.
