Dear Chris
I think Cordelia Warr wrote a very interesting art history Phd for Warwick
University in which she looked at Clarissan habits in detail. I don't know
the title I'm afraid, but I would say it was done in about 1997 or 1998. If
I can dig out the reference, I'll send it on.
