First of all thank you Rick for a kind introduction. I have over 20 years experience in the RM and archives fields. Since 1996 I have been collecting and disseminating to the archivist and recmgmt-l listservs stories related to records and archives. Currently known as RAIN (Records/Archives in the News) these postings are sent out every weekend under such convenient topics as Legal, Government, Archives and Technology. On occasion I may had other topics such as paperless or privacy as mood fits. 8-)
Anyway rather than post the same material to this list let me direct you to the visit either of these two websites. The first one has my original postings back to 1996. Each posting has the newspaper name, headline and link to the article. I collect the articles during the week and happily accept suggestion from the audience especially UK stories. If you have any please send them to [log in to unmask] with the subject line RAINdrop
Each posting uses the following subject line schema for easy location
