Apologies for cross-postings - I muddled my lists and sent to
Eurodoc an answer to a question which had been posed on
Eurotalk! The question, from Jessica Sambrook, was to do with the
legal status of electronic versions of the OJ.
The answer to the best of my knowledge is that the only authentic
text is that which appears in the printed OJ. Although the electronic
texts on the Eur-Lex website and CD-Rom (and indeed in Celex) are
reproductions of the printed - though in practice I guess the
electronic version is produced first? - they are NOT acceptable in
I am open to correction!
Best wishes to all and apologies again for my muddled brain
