Subject: Computer Grants for low-income
02/25/03 04:55 PM individuals
Sue,
Greetings! I currently am interning with a Senate committee and just
attended an info session with Daryl Ann Borel from the Beaumont Foundation
of America. They are accepting applications from low-income individuals
who would like to receive one of 2000 grants for computer hardward. It
sounds like people with disabilities will be given preference.
So far, the foundation has only received about 900 completed applications
with the 3/31/03 deadline fast approaching. Please spread the word to any
qualifying individuals (or organizations that can contact low-income people
with disabilities) and invite them to apply at www.bmtfoundation.com. See
http://www.bmtfoundation.com/media/02102003releaseNY.php for more info.
