HUMAN GEOGRAPHY. Full time, tenure track position beginning August 16, 2003.
Position is part of College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Information Infusion
Initiative to develop students' abilities to locate, organize, store, retrieve,
evaluate, synthesize, and annotate information from print, electronic, and
other sources in preparation for solving problems and making informed decisions.
We seek a human geographer with urban interests. Candidate must have a Ph.D.
in geography or a closely allied discipline by the date of appointment with
demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and research in urban geography
and the use of information technology for geographical research and instruction.
We desire a candidate with teaching and research expertise in one or more
of the following methods: Geocomputation, Geographic Information Science,
Qualitative Techniques, Remote Sensing. Submit letter of application including
