By taking the view that a presentation is a form of mulitmedia we can tap
into the work of cognitive psycologists like Richard Mayer. His
constructivist model of multimedia learning can inform the design of
presentations to help students select relevant material, organise it
internally and integrate it into their existing knowledge.
With the greatest respect to eminent readers, I cant see how such a
_flexible_ tool can be bad without that reflecting on the user of the
tool.
