A large fraction of the UKHEP certificates are due to expire at the end of
October. The EDG procedure for registering users in VOs will require manual
intervention if your new certificate is to appear in the EDG gridmapfiles
under the VO you are registered with.
If your certificate is due to expire soon, please obtain a new certificate
from the Grid Support Centre (GSC) CA (see
http://www.grid-support.ac.uk/ca/ukhep.htm for details) and mail both your
old and new DN to the GSC. I will then arrange with EDG for the VO changes
to be coordinated to minimise the risk of you appearing in gridmapfiles with
an invalid certificate. I will handle DNs received by 24th October. After
that you will have to arrange changes yourself.

PS to find out when your certificate expires, login to a system that has
your certificate installed and type the command
grid-cert-info -enddate
