It's true that there are some excellent resources out there, including the
list on Psci-Com
mentoned by Louise. But Jo is right that people often find out about talks
through
serendipity, word-of-mouth, etc. The Lecture List will be appearing next
year with the
main aims of making it much easier for organisers to publicise talks and
for the public to
find out what's going on. The site will be searchable by topic, speaker,
location, etc.
The full site will be launched next year. In the meantime, our blog page
has some
information about the service (although it is very different from the full
version which we
are currently testing and adapting). The blog page is at:
http://www.lecturelist.org
We'd really appreciate any feedback on the project. To let us know what you
think, to
make suggestions, ask questions, etc. please email me (Billy Clark) at:

We're particularly keen to hear from lecture organisers at this stage.
Thanks for your help and best wishes,
Billy
