Dear List members
Monday 22 September at 7pm, The Royal Society
The future of the World Wide Web by Tim Berners-Lee FRS, Professor of Computer Science, Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the World Wide Web will describe his vision of the Web as something much more than a tool for research or communication; it is a new way of thinking and a means to greater freedom and social growth than ever before possible.
We expect the lecture will be full but we'll be streaming Professor Berners-Lee's talk live at www.royalsoc.ac.uk (details of how to connect to appear on the RS homepage).
Have a good weekend
