FACULTY POSITIONS IN CHEMISTRY
The Department of Chemistry at the University of Florida announces a search for
up to four tenure-track faculty members to begin in Fall 2004 at the Assistant
Professor level. Exceptional candidates for appointment at the Associate
Professor level will also be considered. Candidates in all areas of chemistry
(Analytical, Bio-, Inorganic, Organic, Physical, Polymer, and Theoretical
Chemistry) and outstanding candidates in all areas of research are invited to
apply. In addition to contributing to the research, teaching and service
missions of the Chemistry Department, we anticipate campus-wide interactions in
interdisciplinary programs with departments in the Colleges of Liberal Arts and
Sciences, Medicine and Engineering, along with other University-based Centers
and Institutes. Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae, description of
their research plans, graduate/undergraduate teaching interests, and arrange to
have three letters of recommendation sent on their behalf to Faculty Search
Committee, Department of Chemistry, Box 117200, University of Florida,
