At Tate we're planning to deliver a round of training in April 2004
covering both use of our Collections Management System (The Museum
System) and related procedures e.g. loans in, loans out, location
recording.
Has anyone got any useful tips on how such training might be designed
and run? For example, is it most effective to run 'use of system'
training separately from, or together with, training covering
procedures?
I'd also be grateful if anyone could recommend (a) trainer(s) with
experience of either, or - ideally - both areas.
