REACHING OUT: MARKETING AND PUBLICISING ARCHIVES
This study day is aimed at librarians, curators, archivists and other
professionals who have responsibility for visual archives. The day will
include sessions on marketing your archives, raising their profile (within
and outside of the organisation), preparing exhibitions and displays,
creating educational materials, developing online resources, fundraising and
managing cross domain projects. Speakers will examine the theoretical ideals
while considering practical solutions for those working within time and
budgetary constraints.
Venue: The National Gallery, London.
Date and time: Friday 14th November 2003, 10:00am - 4:30pm
Cost, including lunch: £100 ARLIS members £70 retired
£120 non ARLIS members £50
students/unwaged
