Well, we used to, b4 I joined that 12-step group about LIS-LINK
Controversies.
"Step 1. I admit I am addicted to replying to emails which get my goat
because of implied or direct sexism, racism, homophobia, stupidity or
bigotry... etc. etc. in spite of the fact I haven't a hope in hell of
making other people think like me, and in spite of the fact that these
issues get rehashed continually over time (the VLE list recently being a
case in point), and in spite of the fact that I previously identified a
LIS-LINK Controversy template accurately predicting the roles people
would take and the things they would say, regardless of what individuals
took part"
Actually, this is probably likely to start a debate on "what really
matters". Which would be fun. Answers to anyone but me off-line, and
someone else can summarise for the list.
