> Invent your own Viking Saga!
>
> Are you always dreaming up stories of exciting adventures and daring deeds? Then we have the ideal competition for you. You have to create a short story in the style of a Viking Saga! How you present your story is up to you; it can be as a comic strip; as a story with illustrations or you can put it on a CD Rom (see competition rules below for guidelines). You must make sure your illustrations are drawn with authentic Viking dress and only include items that would have been available to them. (No Viking helmets with horns please!). For inspiration, you could try reading extracts from an original Viking Saga such as that of King Harold or the History of the Earls of Orkney.
