'Setting the Standard' A Common Approach to Child Protection for
International NGOs
'Setting the Standard' is a set of guidelines devised in partnership with
the UK's leading International Non-Governmental Organisations (INGOs) and
the NSPCC which provide a common approach to developing child protection
procedures.
The 'standards' provide advice on developing child protection policy,
procedures and systems, education and training, as well as information on
accessing advice and support, and implementing and monitoring child
protection standards.
The 'standards' are aimed at professionals working for INGOs who want to
develop good practice across the diverse and complex areas in which they
operate.
