The European Commission has recently released the "Study on The Feasibility
of setting up resettlement schemes in EU Member States or at EU Level,
against the background of the Common European Asylum system and the goal
of a Common Asylum Procedure".
This Study was prepared by Joanne van Selm, Erin Patrick and Monica Matts
of the Migration Policy Institute, together with Tamara Woroby of SAIS and
the University of Maryland system.
The study, which includes reports on all countries with resettlement
programmes, as well as forward looking policy options for the EU is
