With apologies for cross-posting, but seems like a useful course if you've
not come across TASI before.

Subject: Putting your images online - New TASI workshop
Dear colleagues,
The Technical Advisory Service for Images is pleased to announce the
following new workshop, to be held in Bristol on 11 December:
PUTTING YOUR IMAGES ONLINE - A GUIDE FOR LECTURERS [and others!]
A straightforward, practical workshop for those who want to use digital
images in their teaching but haven't the time or desire to become imaging
experts. Covers all the steps from capturing images to using them within
Powerpoint presentations, VLEs and Web sites. (Uses Adobe Photoshop,
Extensis Portfolio and an HTML editor. Suitable for beginners)
For more information about this and other TASI workshops, including an
online booking form, please see: http://www.tasi.ac.uk/training/
Note that there are still a couple of places available on TASI's Colour
Management workshop, 4 December.
Regards
Grant
