You will teach courses concerned with the practice of archaeology
and develop fieldwork opportunities for our students. In addition,
you will contribute a period specialism which complements existing
provision. In particular we seek applications from those with
interests in either the Bronze Age Aegean and East Mediterranean
or North Western Europe from ca.800 to 1200 AD. You will also
undertake the range of recruitment, examining, and administrative
tasks expected of contemporary academics. The post will support
the recent expansion of the subject at Kent.
You will have a relevant PhD or be in the final stages of completing
such a degree and will have or be in the course of establishing a
record of research, publication and enterprise in archaeology.
