state of the art in measurement science, learn from the experts in an
extensive pre-conference programme, and enjoy the delights of Western
Australia (WA).
Topics for the conference:
Epistemology, fundamental measurement and Rasch models

and ordered category models.

models.

equating, benchmarking).
Applications in psychology (e.g. intelligence testing, linking
quantitative and stage developmental data).
Applications in marketing (e.g. pairwise designs for preference and
choice studies).

About the location - Perth and Fremantle, WA
Perth has a Mediterranean climate. Therefore, in January, the temperatures
are warm to hot and dry, the beaches are beautiful, and the cafe lifestyle
in the port city of Fremantle, on the beach and river fronts is at its
best. The Swan River Valley (native home of black swans) with its historic
and elegant vineyards, restaurants and galleries, is only 30 minutes from
Perth and 40 minutes from Fremantle.
