Colleagues,
First, this message will be distributed by serval list-servers, so if you
receive it more than once we apologize for the inconvenience.
We (P. Munson and I) are undertaking a study in which we wish to
consider as many as possible Middle Paleolithic ungulate mortality
profiles that meet the following conditions:
1. Ages determined by dental criteria (eruption-wear, crown height,
cementum annuli)
2. Age classes expressed as 10% increments of potential longevity, years,
or short groups of years (for the methodology we're using we cannot use
such broad and/or poorly defined groupings as young-prime-old or juvenile-
young adult-adult-old).
3. Minimum sample size (MNE or MNI) of 25.
We are aware of the following published sources that meet these
conditions. References to any additional ones will be greatly
appreciated. Thank you.
