Well, having been prompted by Umberto & Jacqui's message, please note
the following new publication that may be of interest:
O'Connor, T.P. 2003. The analysis of urban animal bone assemblages. (The
Archaeology of York 19/2). ISBN 1-902772-35-4.
The book is in part a 'methods statement' for work in York (including
the bad ideas that lead nowhere!), and in part a wider discussion of the
particular challenges and opportunities presented by urban animal bone
assemblages. Further ordering details, prices etc from York
Archaeological Trust, Cromwell House, 13 Ogleforth, York YO1 2JG, UK.

Subject: [ZOOARCH] zooarch reminders
A few reminders:
general information about how to use the JISCMAIL lists:
specific information on ZOOARCH and archive consultation:
We would like to encourage members to send to the list any news about
newly published books, conferences, web pages etc. This happens already
from time to time, but probably not often enough. We think that this
would be a marvellous service, which could be of great use to everybody.
In particular members seem to be a bit shy in advertsing their own
publications and activities. Please, don't be shy, spread of information
is what ZOOARCH is about.
