Dear all,
I have noticed what appears to be a lump on a Roman Red Deer antler -
almost a swelling around one of the smaller tines. I have also noticed
something similar near the base of some modern Axis Deer antlers. Are
these growths/tumors or just natural variation in the antler growth?
Does anyone know of anything similar?
Thank you in advance,
Julie
