Apologies for cross posting
List members might be interested in the Institute of Physics' Grants to
Promote Physics scheme.
If you are planning to organise a physics-based event during 2004, but
could do with some extra funding, then this grant scheme is for you. Small
grants of up to £500 are being offered by the Institute to support
individuals organising events, particularly those to be held in National
Science Week, 12-21 March 2004.
Application forms and further information for the 2004 Grants to Promote
Physics scheme are now available online at
http://physics.iop.org/IOP/grants.html or by contacting me at the Institute
(email [log in to unmask] and not the list!). The closing date for
ompleted applications is 31 October 2003.
Please note that this will be the only round of grants for 2004. A new
grant scheme for Einstein Year is being set up for activities in 2005.
