Life and death of the Woolly Mammoth by Adrian Lister, Professor of
Palaeobiology, University College London
Shaggy haired and majestic, the wooly mammoth is one of the best known of
all prehistoric mammals. Adrian Lister of University College London will
take us through the mammoth's evolution and lifestyle; its influence on
human art & culture; and the contentious arguments for why it became
extinct.
Admission FREE. Tickets are NOT required for this event.
