Sounds like the late comedy writer turned singer Alan Sherman. He had his
moments. Actually, there was one along those lines that I thought was much
funnier: a team of comics singing a fairly sophisticated pun, "How can you say
that the world ain't Jewish when the sun's real name is Sol?"
