Halvard, Robin et al
An Australian perspective is that we now pay almost
all our bills (gas, electricity, phone) at the post office
so we are there fortnightly at least. It is therefore not
inconvenient to buy the IRCs (which I might add are
currently rather good looking).
I'm fond of IRCs, they remind me I was long a poet
before I could afford a computer. Mind you, enough
IRCs to cover a book manuscript does get expensive
but then if you think it's worth the money, at least
someone gives you international credit, and the 4 beers vs sending my MS
stateside equation is a good problem to have.
