I think we are all on the same page, simply using different languages. Ken's list of books
points toward process, which is relative rather than absolute. Transaction implies
an interaction between elements that are present and is therefore also relative
- the transaction will be different depending on environment, and thus could lay
groundwork for regional considerations of design. Professor Ranjan points to the
difficulty of using the word. Of importance is the understanding that when we use
the term creativity we must then follow it with a definition of what we mean. It
is not subtle or precise.
It's possible the Tower of Babel first began to creek and groan under the weight
of such a word.
