Best source of information is the WHO (www.who.int/en), who are leading the
international response to the problem and from whom most authorities and
the travel industry are taking their lead.  Individual national authorities
may introduce additional measures which in some instances may be more
draconian than others, e.g. Singapore, Thailand.

Specific measures taken by individual airlines are variable, largely
governed by local issues and cultural expectations.  Most have information
on their websites.

For the group travelling back to UK from Australia, there are currently no
specific concerns - WHO advice is that there is no significant risk even if
transitting through airports in the designated 'affected areas'.  However,
the situation is evolving rapidly, so would be sensible to check the
website of the airline and, if necessary, contact them closer to the date
of travel.

At the moment there would be no reason to quarantine the staff or pupils
returning from Australia.  Although Australia is not an 'affected area'
they should have advice about the symptoms of the condition and advised to
contact their doctor if they do develop symptoms within 7-10 days of their
return.
