ADVANCED ANNOUNCEMENT
2004 Gordon Conference on Atomic and Molecular Interactions
The 2004 Gordon Conference on Atomic and Molecular Interactions will be
held on Sunday, July 11, 2004, through Friday, July 16, at Colby Sawyer
College in New London, New Hampshire. The meeting returns to the venue of
the 2000 and earlier editions. The conference is planned to cover a broad
range of topics involving the interactions of atoms and molecules,
including reactive and nonreactive processes, intermolecular and
intramolecular energy transfer, and photodissociation and unimolecular
processes. Gas phase studies, van der Waals and cluster studies, and
gas/surface studies will all be included. Each session will have as a
continuing focus the underlying potential energy surface responsible for
the phenomena.
The program will follow the Gordon Conference format and feature invited
presentations in four morning and five evening sessions. Poster sessions
of contributed presentations are planned after four of the evening
sessions.
Colby Sawyer College is located in west central New Hampshire, in the
Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee region. There are opportunities for hiking,
biking, golfing, and tennis near the campus.
Please mark your calendars, and we hope to see you at the conference.
Hope to see you there.
