Dear Dr.Burt,
Thank you very much for your kind quick response on my
request.
Unfortunately I have very few informations about the two
great English mining instructors(workers),but they surely
came Japan in the early years of Meiji period maybe with
Mr.Erasmus H.M.Gower,a smelting engineer of your
country and they worked mainly at Sado mine for two or
three years from 1873.It is my great regret that I do not
know of their home town or previous occupation.
Please let me learn of their correct spelt names.I would
appreciate it very much if you could kindly look into again
and let me know.
My Best Regards,
Hiroshi Nakamura
