As a result of frequent error messages and non-delivery of mail, RAL, the
JISC server managers, have had to make changes to the way that messages to
fs.net and freeserve ISP users are delivered. This may have affected the way
that messages are presented in your In box - they will appear to be from the
member sending the message rather than the list.
To help identify list messages you, and this applies to all members, can tag
the subject header with the list name. It would appear something like this -
Subject: Re: [MINING-HISTORY] Bell Pits
To effect the change just send the follwing message to <[log in to unmask]>
set mining-history SUBJECTHDR
--
or go to the list website -
http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/lists/mining-history.html - click on 'Join or
leave the list (or change settings)' then login with your LISTSERV password
and change you options accordingly. If you have not got a password the
website should lead you through the procedure to get one.
Any real problems? Then contact me on <[log in to unmask]>
