A cleaner, healthier world? Environmental information to manage it well.
STN Environmental Forum – 18 September 2003, London
What on Earth must we do to protect and improve our environment? We must
have high quality information to manage our resources.
On Thursday 18th September 2003 STN will be hosting a FREE Environmental
Forum in London. This event will provide an overview of STN’s premier
online databases covering environmental issues, including Chemical
Abstracts, Beilstein, and files from Cambridge Scientific Abstracts,
amongst others. Coverage will also include The Royal Society of
Chemistry’s policy on Environment, Sustainability and Energy, plus the
valuable resources in this area of The Royal Society of Chemistry’s Library
and Information Centre. Julia Osbourne, an information scientist from the
Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science (CEFAS), will
talk about her experiences using environmental information in its many
forms.
