The Scottish Agreement with Hays - and as far as I know all the others -
specifically excludes Ireland (North or Republic)from the service Hays
provides. Additional 'no go' areas are Orkney, Shetland, Skye, Western
Isles and Scilly Isles. As far as I'm aware, Channel Islands are OK
destinations.

Subject: Re: Hays
We've only just started to use Hays for sending stuff out, but have had no
problems over the past X years with books coming here. Our contract says
all libraries on the mainland, so we couldn't use them for Ireland, the
Channel Islands etc anyway. (So, Trinity College, you can lend to us!!! -
assuming of course you trust the post!! )
