Hi,
I've been asked to forward this reply from Paul Calow at Blackwell
Publishing to this list.
Dear Lesley (and Graham),
We can appreciate that it is difficult for librarians to keep track with
the movement of journals between publishers and certainly it is in our
interests (as publishers) to ensure that any changes are communicated
effectively to librarians and end-users.
We acquired the Futura titles in 2002 (a copy of the relevant press
release is available at:
http://www.blackwellfutura.com/press/240402.asp) and we now aim to
complete the loading of these titles onto Synergy by the end of this
month. We will update members of this list once this loading has been
completed.
Information regarding the movement of journals (to and from Blackwell
Publishing) and the exclusion of journals from our collections is
published on our new librarians website
(http://www.blackwellpublishing.com/librarians), on our journals website
(http://www.blackwellpublishing.com/journal_new.asp) and in our monthly
newsletters (back issues of which are available on our new librarians
website).
A current list of titles available within a subscribed to collection is
available from within the Synergy Admin area as Graham suggests.
I hope this information helps.
Kind regards,
Paul Calow
