Has anyone else had problems printing full-text articles which are available
from Proquest?
When we click on the link to the full text we are then selecting the 'page
image' of the article which is meant to be a PDF opened in Adobe Acrobat.
We are then told that we need something called Microsoft ActiveX Gallery to
be able to read this. I have been in contact with our computer dept
regarding this and have been told that this would be a program that we would
have to purchase.
I would be interested to know if anyone has had the same problems. We can
get the full-text of the article but only in text + graphic format. This is
OK if there is only text but when there are figures and tables it means that
you have to click into each one individually to be able to read these and
print out. It is not easy to explain to customers!!
Sorry to go on but this is driving us mad.
