just thought I would alert you to a museum exhibit -- the Museo Pigorini
in Rome is having a major exhibit on the Neolithic called Civilta'
dell'Argilla. All sorts of goodies from Neolithic sites all over Italy on
display; centerpiece is excavations from La Marmotta village at Lago di
Bracciano with new figurine and a second canoe.
It has been running a few months and runs only through March 23rd (I just
learned of it a week or so ago) but there is still time to go if you want
to pop over for a day or two. With cheapo fares and early-morning/
late-night flights to ciampino from ryan air (www.ryanair.co.uk) and
easyjet (www.easyjet.com) even a quick day trip or overnight might be
