Dear Colleague
The JISC Monitoring Unit has been asked by the Joint Information Systems
Committee (JISC) to survey the opinions of the Further Education and Higher
Education communities on the Technical Advisory Service for Images (TASI),
with particular reference to staff engaged in teaching and learning support.
To this end, this message is being sent to teaching and learning contacts
in HE by the Learning and Teaching Support Network (LTSN) and to FE by the
Regional Support Centres (RSCs). However, if you have not received an
invitation and you are involved in learning and teaching in HE or FE please
take part in the survey.
TASI provides advice and guidance to the Further and Higher Education
community on the issues of creating, delivering and using digital images
together with managing digitisation projects. It is vital that the views of
the academic community are recorded to inform future developments and
improvements to the service. To complete the questionnaire follow this
link: <http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=70206225479>. The deadline for
completion is June 30th, 2003.
Reports on user surveys from the Monitoring Unit to the JISC are made
available on the JISC MU web pages: <http://www.mu.jisc.ac.uk/> where possible.
Thanks in advance for your participation.
