Dear Colleagues,
The abstract submission deadline for the EGS-AGU-EUG Joint Assembly at Nice,
France, is approaching quickly. This conference will provide an excellent frame
for scientific exchange among earth scientists. In view of this opportunity, we
would again like to call your attention to session VGP3.21, entitled
Quantifying diagenesis to low-grade metamorphism: Old shoes and new paths
(co-chaired by Meinert Rahn and Sebastien Potel).
We are proud to announce that we have been able to receive support for a
keynote lecture given by Prof. Howard Day (UC Davis) on past and recent results
of very low-grade metamorphism in the Sierra Nevada, California, which is a
classic area for the research on very low-grade metabasites.
Please note that abstracts should be submitted by Wednesday, January 15, 24:00
(GMT). Information about abstract form and submission can be found at
http://www.copernicus.org/EGS/egsga/nice03/abstract_submission_txt_new.htm
For general information on the assembly at Nice, please check at

If there are any questions concerning the submission of your abstract into
session VGP3.21, feel free to contact us ([log in to unmask],

provide a broad platform between research in diagenesis and very low- to
low-grade metamorphism, and contributions from all disciplines are highly
welcome.
Sincerely,
Meinert Rahn, Sébastien Potel
