Forced Migration Review (http://www.fmreview.org) has just released two
publications on internal displacement issues:
FMR 17 "When does internal displacement end?" taps into the thinking of an
array of experts in order to provide guidance on when displacement ends for
UN and other international agencies, governments, NGOs, researchers and IDPs
themselves. Produced in coordination with Georgetown University's Institute
for Study of International Migration and the Brookings Institution-SAIS

"Researching Internal Displacement: State of the Art" reports on a
conference held at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in
February 2003. Looking at the main current issues in research on internal
displacement, it suggests how research findings can better feed into policy,
