You can submit a proposal for a session at the 2003
Developments in Economics and Business (DEBE) Conference by
completing the online form at:
http://www.economics.ltsn.ac.uk/debe2003/submit.htm
The conference is jointly organised by the Economics centre
of the Learning and Teaching Support Network (Economics
LTSN) and Biz/ed. It will attract delegates who are
interested in economics and business education in
the HE, FE and schools sectors. You can read a report of the

The session proposal can be a paper, workshop or poster and
should relate to one or more of the conference themes of:
* Information and Communications Technology (ICT)
* Curriculum and context
* Assessment and monitoring
* Classroom practice and student engagement
* Case Studies, role-playing and simulations
* Learning approaches
* Interdisciplinary studies
Paper sessions will typically be 30 minutes long (20
minutes for the presentation and 10 minutes for questions).
Workshop sessions will be either one or two hours long (you
should state a preference in the proposal) and place an
emphasis on discussion and group activities over
presentation.
There will be a dedicated poster session on both days of
the conference. Detailed guidelines for poster production
will be sent to those who have a poster accepted.
Session proposals should be no longer than 250 words. The
proposal should include an outline of the session and an
indication of the target audience (economics and/or
business studies; HE/FE/schools). The deadline for
proposals is the 30th June 2003. The centre will not accept
late submissions.
